Great location, big rooms, ok breakfast (all sweet).
The towels (even if obviously clean) had a funky smell. :(

I'd recommend House 5 to staying in Trieste
Clean, but not perfect. The breakfast could be a little diverse.
Very kindly and comfortable. Good wi-fi. Nice place.

House 5 definitely are not recommended for moneys they are asking
The hotel is on the first floor of ex-posh old building with smelly stairway. Looks no good at all with shabby bed lining and room sundries. The breakfast consisting of cup of coffee and croissant. Surprisingly when you pick up whichever you choose from the modest offer the girl who is serving you coffee suggesting that if you wish she can bring some cheese and/or hum. Parking is 800m away for 10 euro/day. Heeh, forgot one thing, to make some elegance you have a bottle of vine on your room table for 10/e . From my point the House 5 definitely are not recommended for moneys they are asking..

Not so great ventilation in bathroom - musky towels. Noisy fridge that would never shut up unless you plug it out. Hard and stressful parking on the street if you prefer not to / cannot (bigger cars) use nearby, paid, underground car park.
Comfortable room in nice location - in the city centre, by the park. Good breakfast. Very nice host.

Good location not to far from city center
The hotel is located near a very busy road, it is very nerving to unload luggage from the car when impatient Italian drivers are passing by, or you have to park on the bus lane.
Good bed, nice bathroom and extended breakfast. Located at walking distance from city center. Parking is available at a parking lot nearby for 10€/day. Late check-in is no problem because reception passes the door codes via mail.

Bad smell from the towels, like they came from a mouldy basement or something.
The owner is very nice and very helpful.

Great place to stay in Triëste!
The showerhead was leaking a quite a bit when fully turned open, spraying in all directions and making a bit of a mess. The drain in the shower could not keep up with the amount of water the shower provided, you had to turn it halfway to prevent flooding. The parking places near the hotel were a bit scarce. The best option is to park at the foro ulpiano, which sets you back €16 per 24 hours.
The room was quite big, very modern and was very clean. The bathroom was quite spacious as well. The place was in an apartment complex om the first floor. The check-in was really easy without presence of the hostess. The main door and the apartment door both were provided of a keypad with a code to enter. The hostess emailed and texted the required codes quite some time before arrival. The location was great, about 15 minutes walking to the coastline ans behind the hotel was a whole street with all kinds of bars and restaurants.

    No complains
One of the best accomodations I had in years, very impressive enso of interior design and functionality of a living place, amenities and shared kitchen for breakfast, sense of privacy as there is private code to enter the apartment complex and no classic reception, staff was very helpful
